TEACHERS'
DAY LUNCHEON 2006
|
| During Education Week each year the Kingston Bookshop recognizes six teachers from accross the island who have made significant contributions to the education system. They are honoured at luncheons held in Montego Bay, Mandeville and Kingston. Awardees were: Montego Bay Luncheon - Mrs Dahlia Robinson, vice-principal of the Montego Bay High School, The Rev Dr Basil Chambers, principal of the Petersfield High School in Westmoreland, Mandeville luncheon - Mrs Ruth Brown, principal of the Spalding Primary School in Clarendon, Mr David Brown, principal of the Garvey Maceo High School, also in Clarendon, Kingston Luncheon - Miss Claudia McLean principal of the Norwich Primary School in Portland and Mr Herman Grant, principal of the Ocho Rios Primary School in St Ann. |
