This Department represents publishers Nelson Thornes, Macmillan Press, Oxford University Press, The Hodder Group, Evans Brothers, and Royard Publishing Company recently out of Trinidad. Most of these publishers invest in Caribbean-specific books spanning the levels kindergarten to tertiary.

The department is responsible for the promotion of these titles to all types of educational institutions and other groups. This is done primarily through face-to-face contact. Other methods include distribution of samples, catalogues, flyers, consultations and direct mailing campaigns.

The department maintains a Showroom that stocks books, charts and CD-ROMs from the publishers. Various activities are arranged for teachers in the Showroom on a regular basis.

Mrs. Euphemia Baugh heads the Department. One Promotional Representative, Mr Norman Livingston, and an Educational Administrative Officer, Ms Kim Marie Morrell complete the team.
